UltiStackr Beta is live.
Hi! I'm Erwin, founder of UltiStackr. I've been playing Ultimate since 2009, and started coaching teams since 2018. Through my experience, I've seen firsthand how much time and effort coaches and captains put into running their teams. I've also seen how much easier it would be if there was a tool that could help streamline the process. That's why I created UltiStackr.
UltiStackr is built for the captains, coaches, and players who know that running an ultimate team is more than showing up with cones and a group chat. It is planning practices, teaching systems, tracking attendance, setting lines, reading the game, and somehow still finding enough time to actually coach.
Most teams already do the work. The problem is that the work is scattered everywhere.
A playbook in one place. Practice plans in another. Attendance in a spreadsheet. Lines in someone's notes app. Stats in a separate tool. Feedback in a chat thread that got buried under "who has the jerseys?"
UltiStackr is an attempt to bring that whole stack together.
What's Live in Beta
The beta gives teams practical tools they can use now, while we keep expanding the platform with feedback from real teams.
Right now, UltiStackr Beta includes:
- Visual playbook builder for creating and sharing team systems
- Practice planning and drill scheduling so sessions have a purpose before anyone steps on the field
- Game-day lines and substitution workflows built for the sideline
- Roster and attendance tracking so you know who is in, out, or still "maybe"
- Game analytics and core stat tracking to help you understand what is actually working
This is not meant to replace coaching instinct. It is meant to support it.
Good coaches still make the calls. UltiStackr just gives them a cleaner view of the field.
How Beta Access Works
Every new account starts as a Player account. Players can explore UltiStackr and join teams.
Coaches can unlock team creation with a Coach code during signup or from profile settings. Once you become a Coach, you can create up to 3 teams and receive 3 Coach codes to share with other coaches.
That lets us keep the beta controlled while still making it useful for real teams, not just individual testers clicking around alone.
What We're Looking For
This is a beta, which means two things are true at the same time:
UltiStackr is usable today.
UltiStackr is still improving quickly.
You may run into bugs. You may find workflows that feel almost right but need one more cut. You may notice that your team does something differently from the way the app expects.
That feedback is the point.
Use the Give Feedback option in the app whenever something breaks, feels confusing, or would make your coaching life easier if it worked differently. The best version of UltiStackr will come from actual teams using it at practices, tournaments, tryouts, and messy Tuesday-night planning sessions.
What's Coming Next
The next phase of the beta is focused on player development, team readiness, and deeper coaching insight.
On the roadmap:
- Player skills assessments for tryouts, development checkpoints, and season reviews
- Individual player skills ratings and insights
- Conditioning and workout logging
- Tryouts manager for evaluation, roster decisions, and follow-up
- Expanded player-level progress insights
- More advanced coaching notes and tags
- Season-wide performance comparisons
- Better ways to connect what you practice with what happens on game day
The goal is not just to collect more data. The goal is to turn team information into better decisions.
Who needs more reps in a role? Who is ready for a bigger assignment? Which players are improving fastest? Which lines are clicking? Which drills are translating into games? Where is your team getting fitter, sharper, and more reliable?
That is the edge we want UltiStackr to help teams find.
