Conditioning Hub: The Work Between Practices, Finally Visible
Practice is two nights a week. Fitness is built on the other five.
Every coach knows this. Every coach also knows how little they can see of it. Someone says they ran Tuesday. Someone posts a sweaty selfie in the group chat. Someone quietly stops training in week four and nobody notices until they're gassed at the first tournament.
The Conditioning Hub, shipping in UltiStackr 0.15.0-beta, puts that work in one place where the team can see it and the coach can steer it.
A Team Feed for Training
Players log a session in a few taps: activity type, duration as you'd say it (45m, 1h 30m, or just 90), the date. Distance, tags, notes, custom metrics, and photos are there if you want them.
Turn on Share to team and the session lands on the team Feed. Teammates react, comment, and see that the work is happening. Post threads also show up under Discussions in team chat, so the conversation stays connected to the session.
Sharing is the player's call every time. Coaches see every session on the dashboard regardless; sharing only controls what teammates see.
Weekly Targets With Coaching Attached
A target is a number. Coaching is knowing how to hit it.
Coaches and owners set weekly targets from the Team Dashboard: minutes, sessions, distance, a custom metric the team tracks, or a drill from the team library. Each target can be scoped to the whole team or to each player individually.
Every target takes a note. "Zone 2 only, keep it conversational." "Two of the three should be sprint-based." Players see the note right under the target in My Conditioning, so the number comes with the intent.
Assign a drill as a target and players see it as Coach assigned, with the drill's duration and difficulty. They can tap through to read it and log against it with one tap on the log form.
A Dashboard That Sorts by Who Needs a Conversation
The Team Dashboard shows active players, sessions, target completion, and a Needs attention count: eligible players with no sessions in the period.
The player list is ordered for triage. No sessions at the top, then fewest minutes. Each row shows sessions, minutes, target completion, and last activity, plus a Message action that opens a direct message with that player.
Players marked Recovering, Injured, Sick, or Unavailable show that status instead of "At risk" and don't count against each-player targets. Nobody gets flagged for resting a hamstring.
Switch the period to the last 4, 8, or 12 weeks and everything follows.
Badges, Streaks, and Your Best Week
Players get their own view in My Conditioning: sessions and minutes this week, progress against targets, a consistency streak counted in weeks that met the team's target, and a badge collection with tiers.
Tap a badge to see what it took and what the next tier needs. Your best week on record for sessions, minutes, and distance sits alongside.
Privacy settings control what others see. Turn distance off and it disappears from shared posts and the coach dashboard alike.
Why It Lives in the Team Workspace
A fitness app tracks you. The Conditioning Hub tracks the team.
The targets come from your coach, in your team's language. The feed is your teammates. The drill you're assigned is the one you'll run at practice on Thursday. The dashboard the coach reads is the same one that decides who gets a check-in this week.
That's the point. Not more data, but the off-day work connected to the rest of the coaching loop.
